Korea Foundation for Industrial Technology and Culture conducts ‘K-TECH Content Contest’

The Korea Foundation for Industrial Technology and Culture is promoting the ‘K-TECH Content Contest’, a participatory contest for the entire public that will easily explain industrial technology through content that suits the public’s level.

This contest, with the subtitle ‘The moment when technology becomes content,’ is a project to recruit individuals or teams who can express the present and future of Korea’s industrial technology through creative content. The focus is on disseminating industrial technology as content that the public can sympathize with and enjoy, rather than as difficult and rigid information.

Participants can create various types of content without genre restrictions based on industrial technology and related topics. There are no restrictions on the method of expression as long as it contains the feeling or message of industrial technology, and we recruit a wide range of creative content that easily explains industrial technology.

Selected participants will be paid content production support, and the production support will be up to 6 million won based on the series type. In addition, we plan to provide training and mentoring necessary during the content production process.

In particular, this contest was designed to break away from the existing technology promotion method and allow creators to interpret and convey industrial technology from each creator’s perspective and format. This is expected to serve as an opportunity to increase public interest and understanding of industrial technology and to spread a new communication method that combines technology and content.

An official from the Korea Foundation for Industrial Technology and Culture said, “This contest is a project to discover creative content that can promote industrial technology in an easier and more friendly way,” and added, “We hope for a lot of interest and participation from creators who can interpret and express technology in their own way.”

Applications for participation will be held from May 19 to June 15, 2026, and can be submitted through the K-TECH Content Contest application page.
