It is reported that Chairman Choi plans to meet with CEO Hwang at the information technology exhibition ‘Computex 2026’ held in Taiwan. CEO Hwang visited Korea on the occasion of the APEC summit held in Gyeongju at the end of October last year and had a so-called ‘Kanbu meeting’ with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, which attracted a lot of attention at home and abroad. At the time, it was CEO Hwang’s first visit to Korea in about 15 years since 2010.

In addition, CEO Hwang is known to be coordinating a meeting with key executives in the semiconductor division, such as Jeon Young-hyun, head of Samsung Electronics’ Device Solutions (DS) Division (Vice Chairman).
