Jabodetabek Weather Today: Be Alert! Rain has the potential to be accompanied by lightning and strong winds

JAKARTA – The weather in the Jabodetabek area is predicted to be dominated by thick cloudy conditions to rainy conditions, on Friday (17/4/2026).

Based on forecasts from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), rain with light to moderate intensity has the potential to occur in a number of areas.

In the morning until noon, weather conditions are relatively more friendly with a predominance of clear, cloudy to thick cloudy conditions in most of the Jabodetabek area.

However, the public is advised to increase their vigilance again during the day and evening. Light to moderate rain is predicted to fall in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Tangerang City and Regency, South Tangerang, Depok, Bogor and Bekasi Regency. Meanwhile, the Bogor Regency area has the potential to experience moderate to heavy rain.

For air temperature, the Bogor City and Regency areas are estimated to be in the range of 20-28 degrees Celsius, while other areas are in the range of 24-30 degrees Celsius. The air humidity level is quite high, namely between 68 and 94 percent.
