Global Uncertainty, PKS Highlights Strengthening Economy, Food and Energy

JAKARTA – In the midst of the current conditions of global uncertainty, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) assesses the need to strengthen a number of strategic sectors. This is in order to maintain national sovereignty in facing various challenges.

Chairman of the PKS DPP for Farmers, Livestock and Fishermen, Riyono Caping, emphasized the need for strengthening in the economic, food and energy sectors.

According to him, the global situation which is full of uncertainty demands the nation’s readiness to strengthen strategic sectors that directly touch the needs of the people.

“From a celebration to a movement. This is the focus and efforts of PKS in the agenda for this 24th Anniversary. Increasing age makes the challenges greater, so concrete steps are needed to strengthen economic, food and energy security in order to maintain national sovereignty,” said Riyono, quoted on Sunday (26/4/2026).

He explained that economic, food and energy security are not just sectoral issues. However, this is the main pillar in maintaining national stability and social welfare.
