JAKARTA – Electricity ratesthe prices of fuel and LPG that will apply in May 2026. The government has determined that electricity rates for the period April, May and June (quarter II-2026) will not increase.

Thus, non-subsidized and subsidized electricity rates in May remained the same compared to the previous period. The policy of electricity tariffs not increasing until June 2026 was taken as a form of the state’s presence in maintaining people’s purchasing power and supporting the competitiveness of national industry.

Meanwhile, subsidized and non-subsidized fuel prices in May also did not experience adjustments. Pertamina decided not to increase the price of non-subsidized fuel on May 1 2026 even though oil prices soared above USD 100 per barrel. The last time, non-subsidized fuel prices increased on Saturday 18 April 2026.

On the other hand, Pertamina also sets the price for non-subsidized LPG in sizes of 12 kilograms (kg) and 5.5 kg. The price of LPG in May 2026 will still be the same as the price on April 18 2026. At that time, Pertamina also increased the price of 12 kg and 5.5 kg LPG.

5. Group R-3/ TR power 6,600 VA and above, IDR 1,699.53 per kWh
6. Class B-2/ TR power 6,600 VA-200 kVA, Rp. 1,444.70 per kWh
7. Group B-3/ Medium Voltage (TM) power above 200 kVA, Rp. 1,114.74 per kWh
8. Category I-3/ TM power above 200 kVA, Rp. 1,114.74 per kWh
