Hundreds of International Judol Syndicate Foreigners Moved, Mobile Brigade Stands Ready at Hayam Wuruk Plaza

JAKARTA – The National Police transferred hundreds of foreign nationals (WNA) who were suspected of being members of an international online gambling syndicate (judol) at the Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower, West Jakarta, Sunday (10/5/2026).

Based on Okezone’s monitoring at the Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower office, a number of fully equipped firearms (senpi) personnel were on standby at the entrance and exit of this building.

They were deployed to oversee the transfer of foreigners to Central Jakarta Immigration, West Jakarta Immigration and the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim).

A number of medium-sized buses have also been prepared to transport the 321 foreigners caught in the online gambling syndicate operation.

Meanwhile, the police stated that the perpetrators had been operating for two months. “Dari hasil pemeriksaan, kurang lebih dua bulan (beroperasi), dua bulan, baru dua bulan,” said the Director of General Crimes (Dir Tipidum) Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Wira Satya Triputra.

Wira said this activity was carried out by 321 foreign nationals (WNA). From the results of the interim investigation, Wira said that the perpetrator had rented two floors of office space in the building for one year.

On the same occasion, Wira said that hundreds of foreigners who were recruited to run online gambling operations were said to already know their work activities in Indonesia. The perpetrators even lived near the building where they worked.
