1. Persija Jakarta Dominates the Match
The match entitled ‘El Clasico Indonesia’ was held at the Segiri Stadium, Samarinda, East Kalimantan on Sunday 10 May 2026 afternoon WIB. The Kemayoran Tigers – Persija Jakarta’s nickname – who were the hosts, played offensively from the start.
The game had sweet results after Alaeddine Ajaraie scored a goal in the 20th minute. However, after that, Persib Bandung responded with two goals from Adam Alis in the 28th and 38th minutes.
After that, Persija Jakarta tried hard to equalize the score. However, several opportunities created did not result in additional goals. The score 2-1 lasted for Persib Bandung’s victory.
Fabio Calonego admitted that his team was less clinical in that match. The Brazilian passport player believes that the Kemayoran Tigers actually performed better than Persib.
“From inside the field I have the same view (with the coach), that we played better. However, that’s football. In football, the better team doesn’t always win,” said Fabio Calonego, Okezone quoting from the official Persija Jakarta website, Monday (11/5/2026).
