Hangang-ro Photo Studio is a corner created by Segye Ilbo photo department reporters. There are different ways we see the world. I see it with my eyes and hear it with my ears. Sometimes you can feel it with your whole body. Photojournalists see the world through cameras every day. I can’t include everything from the reporting site, but I try to include things that are meaningful. And I press the shutter with a slightly selfish gaze. We will decorate the photo studio by combining photos from various perspectives.
On the 17th, the second day of the 2026 Lotus Lantern Festival was held in the area of Ujeongguk-ro in front of Jogyesa Temple in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The festival is comprised of seven themed traditional culture venues and various events. Special events such as the food yard, Myeongseongsang yard, NGO yard, Sharing yard, Youth MZ yard, Traditional yard, International yard, stamp tour and AI photo booth, and traditional performances such as tightrope walking, mask dance, and pungmul play were held.
At 7 p.m., a lotus lantern parade will be held on the street connecting Insa-dong and Jogyesa Temple to mark the finale of the festival.
