JAKARTA – Viral on social media was the action of a group of motorbikes who parked haphazardly, blocking the road in the Jalan MH Thamrin area. The action was then dispersed by police officers.

From the video circulating, a resident can be seen complaining about the closed road conditions in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, causing traffic jams.

“Jalan ditutup, begini kerjanya malam-malam. Mana petugas? Ini tengah kota, jalan protokol, jalur utama. Etalase Kota Jakarta ini. Masa seperti ini?” said the video recorder, as reported by @ijoeel.

The recorder then reported the incident to the police officers on guard around the HI Roundabout. He showed the traffic jam conditions due to the road closure.

“Sir, I want to report. This is in front of the Japanese Embassy,” said the resident.

“Yeah, over there, right?” answered the officer.

“Yes, it was closing the road,” he continued.
