Brimob Deployed to Guard Offices in Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta Regarding Judol Disclosure (Jonathan Simanjuntak)

JAKARTA – Member of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) The National Police is on guard around the office area on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, Saturday (9/5/2026) morning. This security is related to law enforcement in online gambling (judol) cases.

Based on monitoring at the location, dozens of Brimob personnel in full uniform were still seen standing guard in front of the office building. They were alerted at a number of points around the building area.

A Brimob member in complete tactical equipment, from helmets, bulletproof vests, to long-barreled weapons was seen standing guard right in front of the building entrance. Meanwhile, several investigators were seen going back and forth in and out of the office area.

Based on the information gathered, the police are still taking action in one of the office areas in the building. The tight security from Brimob is to support the law enforcement process related to online gambling activities.

The situation at the location was observed to be relatively quiet. Community activity around the building also seemed minimal compared to the number of officers on guard.

At the location, the police had prepared a row of chairs for the press conference. Right behind him you can see a videotron with the words “Press Conference for the Disclosure of International Network Gambling Crime Cases”.

Previously, the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, explained that the deployment of dozens of Brimob members was related to action taken by the police.

“It’s true (action) on the international network. Since yesterday it has been closely guarded by Brimob,” said Budi when contacted, Saturday (9/5/2026).
