Come play in the yellow waves… ‘2026 Guri Rape Flower Festival’ [Hangang-ro Photo Studio]

Hangang-ro Photo Studio is a corner created by Segye Ilbo photo department reporters. There are different ways we see the world. I see it with my eyes and hear it with my ears. Sometimes you can feel it with your whole body. Photojournalists see the world through cameras every day. I can’t include everything from the reporting site, but I try to include things that are meaningful. And I press the shutter with a slightly selfish gaze. We will decorate the photo studio by combining photos from various perspectives.

The ‘2026 Rape Flower Festival’ opened at Guri Hangang Citizen’s Park on the 8th. The Guri Rape Flower Festival will be held for three days from the 8th to the 10th. It has been held every May since 2001 to bring joy to those visiting Guri City, including families and couples, by combining culture and art with the rape flower complex spread out against the backdrop of the Han River.

A photo zone, various experience centers, traditional markets, and small business promotion booths will be operated within the rape flower complex.
